Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

Youth Programs

All of the programs listed here are free, open to the public, and don't require a library card or to live in LaSalle to attend.  Children who are eight years of age or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult while at the Library.  Some of the programs may require registration (they will be marked).  Please register promptly, as these programs have limited space.  As a courtesy to our speakers, facilitators, and/or presenters, please allow time to park and use the restroom before the program begins.  All programs begin at the stated time.

Discover New Trails at the Library

Welcome to the LaSalle Public Library's Summer Program for youth, ages 4 through 18, and families. It is four weeks of exploration and fun, as Library programming and materials expand both what we know and our curiosity.

The programming encourages family participation - from parent and child together activities (PACT) as well as fun craft activities, a room-sized game board, LegoMania, and a special teen “create your own avatars,” an art and technology program.  The program, free and open to the public, runs from Monday, June 13th through Saturday, July 9th. Prizes will be given away throughout the program.

We hope you will be able to join us in the fun!
