Youth Programs

We offer programs for children, youth, and families, throughout the year.  All of our programs are free, and open to the public.  No library card is needed to attend, and you don't have be from LaSalle.  All of our programs are listed on our Facebook page.  If you would like to sign up for upcoming program reminders, you can subscribe to our email list or like/follow us on Facebook.

Speciality Programs

Parenting at Our Best (Lapsit) -  We have partnered with District 122 LaSalle Schools and Parenting at Our Best to offer a lapsit storytime, once a week, to children birth through age five, who live within LaSalle, Peru or Dimmick school districts.  Children, with parents/cargivers are invitied to the Library on Monday mornings at 9:30 a.m.  There will be a story and a craft.  If you would like to register for this program, contact Erica Escatel at 815-200-5751. 

Summer Reading - We offer a summer reading program that usually runs eight weeks, beginning in early June through July.  The program is open to all ages.  Details and information will be released in May. 

1000 Books Before Kindergarten  - We offer this early literacy program to parents and/or caregivers that have children, birth through five.
