Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

Congratulations on your Centennial!  The thought of all the books and stories that have been checked out from your library and read over those years is awe-inspiring.  You should be very proud.  …  That’s what libraries do: they connect us as human beings.  That’s what your library has done for a hundred years.

Online Catalog

14

Welcome to our new online catalog, Encore!  This system gives you, the patron, many more user options such as opting into a reading history, creating and saving lists, placing multiple holds at once, creating reviews and comments, rating titles, and more.

PLEASE NOTE that while we work on some issues with the new system, the online catalog won't "scope" directly to the LaSalle Public Library's holdings.  This means that after you do a search, to quickly determine if LaSalle owns an item, you will want to use the "Libraries" facet on the left and choose "LaSalle Public Library".  Also, our specific holding (i.e. call#, availability status, etc.) will not necessarily be at the top of the holdings once you are in a specific record.  You may have to scroll through several holdings to find us.  This is a known issue in the system and PrairieCat staff are working to correct it.  Please bear with us and if you have any questions, please don't hesistate to contact us.
