Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

I am a Scientist! (Mad Moving Molecules)

Event Date:
Nov 14 2017 - 11:00am

Join us for “I am a Scientist!” with Laura Robinson, on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings!

Especially for children, ages 4 through 9, with a parent or an adult caregiver, these approximately hour-long programs, offered in the morning and again in the evening are designed to provide children with fun hands-on science learning that gives children confidence to explore and discover.

On Tuesday, November 14th, at 11:00 a.m., it’s all about Mad Moving Molecules! What is a molecule? How do they make water? What about ice? What about steam? Find out what makes molecules move. Can you move like a molecule? Find out how temperature affects balloons, and make a balloon tower! This program will be repeated on Wednesday, November 15th, at 5:00 p.m.

Because of Thanksgiving, we will only have one “I am a Scientist!” this month

This program is free and open to the public. Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This program is limited to 15 children. The LaSalle Public Library is located at 305 Marquette, LaSalle, and is ADA compliant and welcoming. For more information, please call the Library at 815-223-2341.
