I am a Scientist! All About Bones

Event Date:
Oct 10 2017 - 11:00am

Join us for “I am a Scientist!” with Laura Robinson, on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings! Especially for children, ages 4 through 9, with a parent or an adult caregiver, these approximately hour-long programs, offered in the morning and again in the evening are designed to provide children with fun hands-on science learning that gives children confidence to explore and discover.

On Tuesday, October 10th, at 11:00 a.m., it’s "All About Bones!" Kids will find out when "I am a Scientist" takes on the skeletal system through song and science. What do bones do? What are joints? What do bones look like inside? Is there a funny bone? Each child will make a full-sized skeletal drawing of themselves! This program will be repeated on Wednesday, October 11th, at 5:00 p.m.

This program is free and open to the public. Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This program is limited to 15 children. The LaSalle Public Library is located at 305 Marquette, LaSalle, and is ADA compliant and welcoming. For more information, please call the Library at 815-223-2341.
