Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

As a shy, introverted, scholarly child (long ago) I don’t know what I would have done without libraries!  My family moved often.  I was always the new kid in town.  The library always offered me my first and most important friendship: the place where I felt right at home.  I still feel that way today, about libraries.

LaSalle Public Library Receives Gift from the Perfectly Flawed Foundation

The LaSalle Public Library is pleased to announce a generous gift from the Perfectly Flawed Foundation.   The Perfectly Flawed Foundation is a 501(c) 3 organization that is led by Luke Tomsha.  Built on Tomsha’s struggles with addiction and his journey to become sober, the foundation seeks to support to community education and involvement, provide scholarships to those in rehab in exchange for community service, and to give support and services for children.

The donation made it possible for the Library to purchase eight new chairs for its adult public computer workstations.  These chairs will help improve and enhance the patron experience since they raised or lowered for comfortability and can be wiped down if needed.  For more information, please call 815-223-2341 or visit us on Facebook.
