Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

'I love books.  I like the way a book feels.  I like the way a book smells.  I like to turn each page, read each word, look at the pictures.’  I wrote those words in a book because of my wonderful, unforgettable first visit to a library.  It opened up a world to me – a world of surprises, magic, fun, mystery, excitement, and all the information I would ever need to write my books.

If you love Legos, and are at least 6 years old or older, you are welcome to attend LegoMania! Each week, participants will be challenged to create a Lego design prompted by a different theme.

This summer's themes are, "Once Upon a Time," "Go Wild," "Late at Night," and "Space Explorer." Before disassembling the creations, participants may be photographed, if they choose, with their finished project. The photos will be for the child to keep; children may from their photos in a paper frame before taking the keepsake home. Legos are for In-Library use only. Free and open to the public. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

LegoMania! is part of the Library's 2017 Summer Program, "BIG Summer @ the Library."
