Jul 11 2017 - 6:00pm

Coco Chanel comes to LaSalle! In this historical portrayal created and performed by Annette Baldwin, meet one of the 20th Century's top ten tycoons and the most influential designer of all time--Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Mademoiselle Chanel came on the fashion scene with the revolutionary idea that women's clothing should be comfortable and uncomplicated. A powerful, self-made woman, Chanel is copied more than any other fashion designer in history.

Annette's portrayals of women in history have been seen by audiences in 19 states, as well as at the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian Institution. Join us for this unique living history presentation. This program is free and open to the public, and is made possible through funding from Alwin C. Carus Trust.
