7 December 1941: "A date which will live in infamy"

On Tuesday, December 6th, at 6:00 p.m. the LaSalle Public Library will host a program to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. Presented by Victor Croasdale of Spring Valley, this informative program will focus on the Japanese attack on the U.S. fleet, Naval Air Stations and army installations at Pearl Harbor, as well as the events leading up to, and the immediate consequences of the attack. 

This presentation will provide the audience with a look-back at these truly monumental events in history. Detailed models of period aircraft and ships, all personally crafted and authentically-detailed by Mr. Croasdale are displayed on both levels of the Library through December.
