Life on the Appalachian Trail with John Lynn

Event Date:
Aug 25 2016 - 6:00pm

John Lynn, lifelong trekker and photographer, brings his experiences to “armchair travelers” in this informative program that only could be related by someone who has personalized the Appalachian Trail first-hand. America’s first national scenic trail and administered in part by the National Park Service, the Appalachian Trail extends an extraordinary 2,100 miles, from Georgia to Maine, and Lynn hiked it all! In this centennial year of our National Park Service, we’ll take a close look at the unique “scenic, wooded, pastoral, wild, and culturally resonant lands” of this very special footpath that traverses 14 states. This program is free and open to the public.
