Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

Tea & Tech

Event Date:
Jul 22 2015 - 10:30am

Join us on Wednesday, July 22nd between 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m for Tea & Tech.

Whether you take your tea, iced or hot, join us for a light brunch, when the LaSalle Public Library hosts Tea & Tech, a "hands-on" technology workshop designed to help participants troubleshoot roadblocks encountered with their tech device. Bring your laptop, smartphone, iphone, tablet or ebook reader, and your questions! We'll do our best to help you find solutions to common tech problems. Even more, we'll help you explore options and to select features that customize your tech to fit YOU!.

In addition to taming the technology, staff can help new users download ebooks, audio books, apps and more! Get tips on great websites on topics you want to explore. Learn helpful hints, short cuts, and work-arounds that can put solutions at your fingertips. When you attend Tea & Tech, be sure to bring along your USB and power cables that work with your device. If you are in the process of setting up your technology, and have already entered a user name and password, be sure to bring along that information, too.

Learn, explore and share ideas with other users. Tame your tech...make it work for you!

This program is free and open to the public. The Library is located at 305 Marquette Street, LaSalle, IL and is Americans with Disabilities Act compliant and welcoming. If you wish to attend the event and have special needs because of a disability, please contact Donna Blomquist at 815-223-2341 to discuss arrangements.
