Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

When I enter a library, when I enter the world of books, I feel the ghosts of the past on my shoulders urging me to speech.  I hear Patrick Henry cry to the Burgsses, ‘Is Life so dear, or Peace so sweet, to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?’  I hear Sojourner Truth tell me that the hand that rocks the cradle can also rock the boat, and William Lloyd Garrison say, ‘I am in earnest, I will not be silenced.’

January Family Night...Crazy Crafts!

When "Ho, ho, ho’s" turn in to "Ho, Hums" it’s time to add a bit of color!  Throughout the year, the Library hosts programs that incorporate crafts.  The left-over kits go on a shelf, along with various scraps that are “too good to throw away!”  Help us clean up our craft shelves!  Bring lots of imagination and dress for mess…paint and glue may be involved!

This is a "Parent And Child Together" program.  Kids should attend with an adult caregiver, who can assist the child in completing a project.  Some art materials may not be appropriate for children under the age of 3.  Parents should choose activities that best suit their child.

Drop-in anytime between 6:30p.m. and 7:30p.m.

Crazy Crafts…some of "this," lots of "that"…your creativity can put it all together.
