Lunch Munch Guidelines

Welcome to Lunch Munch, a free program offered by the River Bend Foodbank, Illinois State Board of Education, and the USDA.  It is important that families
follow the guidelines provided below, to ensure that the  program, will continue to be available.

Guidelines

Lunch Munch meals must be eaten in the Library Meeting Room; meals cannot be taken out of the room, or taken home.

Lunch Munch meals are available for youth ages 2 to 18 years only; at this time, we are unable to provide adult lunches, but we are working on making this possible.

If a youth decides not to eat an item from his/her Lunch Munch meal, the youth may place the item, if unopened, on the Share Table.  Food items on the
Share Table maybe taken by other youth at the Lunch Munch program that day, and eaten during that lunch period.  Lunch Munch volunteers will inform youth about the Share Table when the meal is distributed.

We ask that youth enjoy their lunch, and be courteous to others.  Upon finishing their meal, youth are invited to explore the Library, and have fun!

Lunch Munch Volunteers are generously giving of their time and energy to make Lunch Munch possible.  Please let them know that you appreciate them.
